In January, the General Authority for Foreign Citizens and Citizenship of Mongolia issued visas and corresponding category visas to 7330 foreign citizens. Among them, 3972 citizens from 20 countries were issued electronic tourist visas. This was reported by MiddleAsianNews.
Additionally, based on the permission of the competent authorities, 1237 foreign citizens were issued residence permits in Mongolia, and residence permits for 5057 foreign citizens were extended.
Last month, around 3000 individuals, organizations, and companies provided services for visa and residence permit processing for more than 21,000 foreign citizens.
These statistics indicate an increase of 42.4% in the number of visas issued and applications approved, a 1.6% increase in the number of residence permits issued, and a 68.1% increase in the number of residence permit extensions compared to the same period last year.
