According to the terms of the New START treaty, there are limits on the number of deployed intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), ballistic missile submarines (SSBNs), and heavy bombers (HB), which total 700 units. There are also limits on the total number of warheads, which must not exceed 1550 units, and for deployed and non-deployed launchers of ICBMs, SSBNs, and HBs, the limit is set at 800 units.
