The U.S. Ambassador to NATO stated that China could stop the war in Ukraine

During the discussion, Whitaker emphasized that "China could simply call Vladimir Putin and end this war tomorrow." He also added that Beijing could stop supplying dual-use goods to Russia and refrain from purchasing Russian energy resources.

According to the diplomat, it is China's actions that contribute to the continuation of the conflict: "China makes this war possible."

Furthermore, after the onset of the full-scale war, Russia and China significantly strengthened their cooperation, especially in the field of technology, including the use of Chinese components in Russian drones.

Nevertheless, Chinese authorities have repeatedly emphasized their support for efforts to peacefully resolve this conflict.
