The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia met with members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea

On February 24, during a working visit to the Republic of Korea, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Amartuvshin Gombosuren, held meetings with key figures, including Jin Seon-jun, a member of the National Assembly and president of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group between Mongolia and South Korea, as well as Jeong Dong-yeon, who serves as the Minister of Unification of the Republic of Korea.

During these negotiations, topics concerning bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and South Korea were discussed.

The participants of the meetings emphasized the importance of interaction between the legislative bodies of the two countries to strengthen Mongolian-South Korean ties. They also expressed their readiness to support regular high-level visits and enhance friendly relations between the peoples, as well as to develop and expand cooperation in various fields.

Representatives from South Korea noted that Mongolia plays an important role in the field of security in Northeast Asia and expressed their desire to continue supporting a multilateral negotiation mechanism on security issues.

The parties agreed that to achieve peace and stability in the region, it is necessary to actively utilize platforms for multilateral negotiations and ensure the involvement of all participants in dialogue.
