According to his statement, an agreement has been reached to process the existing uranium stocks to a level corresponding to a "neutral, natural state."

He clarified: "As for the current stocks, an agreement has been reached to process them to a minimal level — to a neutral state. This means that they will be converted into fuel that will become irreversible."

Furthermore, the minister noted that Iran is showing a willingness to consider allowing American inspectors to monitor compliance with the future nuclear deal.

He added: "I believe this is a much more advantageous agreement, as Iran is open to this idea."

Badr al-Busaidi acted as a mediator in the negotiations between the Iranian and American delegations, which took place in Geneva and constituted the third round of discussions on the Iranian nuclear program.

Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump set Iran a deadline of 10 to 15 days to reach an agreement, warning of serious consequences otherwise.

He also noted that he does not wish to use military force against Iran, but "sometimes it is necessary" to take such measures.
