The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized in a statement that the repatriation of Mongolian citizens in Israel will be organized, provided that appropriate applications are submitted. This information was reported by MiddleAsianNews.
Due to the ongoing tension between Israel, the USA, and Iran, the Minister of Foreign Affairs strongly advises against traveling to Israel, Iran, and other countries in the Middle East.
Currently, about 40 citizens of Mongolia reside in Israel, who are either married to Israelis or have obtained Israeli citizenship. There are no citizens of Mongolia in Iran.
Considering the current situation, the Mongolian embassy in Ankara has created a chat for its citizens in Israel to ensure the exchange of information and advice.
In response to requests from Mongolian citizens, repatriation will be carried out through the Egyptian border from Tel Aviv using the port of Taba, based on previously accumulated experience.
Approximately 281 citizens of Mongolia currently live in the Middle East. Among them:
Israel — 40,
UAE — 80,
Egypt — 45,
Kuwait — 38,
Saudi Arabia — 23,
Jordan — 1,
Oman — 2,
Bahrain — 33,
Qatar — 19.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to provide support by offering consultations and information through its embassies in Ankara, Abu Dhabi, Cairo, and Kuwait for citizens in the region.
