The judicial authorities play a key role in creating a transparent and stable legal environment, which fosters confidence among both citizens and investors in their business initiatives.
On Wednesday, a meeting took place in Hanoi between the Chairman of the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam, Nguyen Van Quang, and the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Mongolia, Ganzorig Damdin, who visited the country on an official visit.
Quang noted that the relations between the two countries continue to develop, emphasizing the importance of judicial cooperation as a fundamental element for deepening mutual understanding and expanding bilateral ties.
He expressed high appreciation for the dynamic and close interaction of the judicial systems of both countries in recent years, assuring that the results of the current negotiations and the visit of the Mongolian delegation will further strengthen cooperation.
Discussing reforms in the judicial system of Vietnam, the chairman noted the successful holding of the 14th Party Congress, where the priority of developing legal institutions and the judicial system was confirmed. In this context, the courts play a central role in ensuring justice and supporting national construction.
Quang also emphasized that the judicial authorities contribute to the formation of a stable and transparent legal environment, which strengthens the trust of investors and citizens in the business process.
Ganzorig Damdin, in turn, noted that his visit aims to implement the activities outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding on judicial cooperation signed between the supreme courts of the two countries.
He added that the trip symbolizes the commitment of both sides to further develop judicial cooperation as a key element in the relations between Vietnam and Mongolia.
During the negotiations, the directions for future interaction were discussed, including the exchange of experiences at high and local levels, maintaining cooperation in both in-person and online formats, as well as the effective implementation of the signed memorandum.
The main areas of cooperation include the exchange of experiences in specialized courts for intellectual property and bankruptcy, the development of mechanisms for handling cases in free trade zones and high-quality investment centers, the establishment of electronic courts and digital management systems, as well as the improvement of mechanisms for the recognition and enforcement of foreign judicial and arbitration decisions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding between the Vietnam Judicial Academy and the Academy of Judicial Training, Research, and Information under the Supreme Court of Mongolia.
