The Deputy Head of the Iranian Presidential Administration for Public Relations, Mohammad-Mehdi Tabatabai, stated the necessity for Middle Eastern countries to abandon support for U.S. attacks. He noted on the social network X that Tehran will not initiate retaliatory actions if neighboring states do not cooperate with Washington.

Tabatabai emphasized that Iran is prepared to respond to ongoing acts of "aggression" with strikes on American military bases in the region.

Additionally, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, highlighted that the presence of American military bases makes peace in the Middle East impossible.

According to him, these bases have become key points for attacks against Iran, and in the event of an attack, a response will be given at the site of its occurrence. Ghalibaf assured that all Iranian politicians and the public agree with this position.

For his part, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian noted that Tehran intends to maintain relations with neighboring countries where retaliatory strikes against U.S. and Israeli attacks were previously conducted.

He emphasized the importance of good neighborly relations and respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity in the region, adding that Iran conducts "defensive operations" only in response to aggressive actions.

Pezeshkian also noted that Tehran does not plan to attack neighboring states if threats do not emanate from their territory and apologized for the strikes that were carried out against these countries in response to the actions of the U.S. and Israel.
