The situation in the region continues to deteriorate, and Iran is actively using its ballistic missiles and drones to attack various targets. According to analysts from Defence Express, over 1,000 ballistic missiles and more than 1,700 drones have already been deployed during the conflicts.

One of the most powerful missiles in Iran's arsenal is the Khorramshahr. Its warhead can weigh up to 1,800 kg, and its maximum range is about 2,000 km. When the payload is reduced, Tehran claims the missile can reach 3,000 km.

Experts also highlight the Sejjil, Ghadr, and Emad missiles, which are long-range liquid-fueled ballistic systems of Iran. However, many characteristics, such as range and power, may be exaggerated, as they are based on official statements from Tehran.

Important components of Iran's arsenal also include drones. For example, the Shahed-136 drone has a range of up to 2,500 km. The Arash-2 (Kian-2) unmanned aerial vehicle can operate at distances from 1,000 to 1,600 km, while the Karrar jet drone has a range of about 1,000 km.

According to estimates from Israeli intelligence, by the summer of 2025, Iran had about 2,500-3,000 medium-range ballistic missiles capable of hitting targets at distances from 1,000 to 3,000 km. This information was provided by Israeli military expert David Hendelman in an interview with the "Russian Service of the BBC".

The report from the American analytical center JINSA for February 2026 also confirms these estimates; however, experts note that Iran does not have missiles with ranges exceeding 2,000 km.

In addition to ballistic missiles, Iran also possesses cruise missiles and strike drones, including the "Shahed" family. Specialists emphasize that special air defense systems are necessary to protect against such threats.
