In addition, air defense forces identified 121 unmanned aerial vehicles, of which 119 were successfully intercepted, while two fell on the territory of the country.
Since Iran began striking the UAE, the armed forces of this country have recorded 221 ballistic missiles, of which 206 were destroyed. 14 missiles fell into the sea, and two landed on Emirati territory, the agency reports. Additionally, air defense detected 1,305 Iranian drones, of which 1,229 were intercepted. 76 drones fell on UAE soil, and the destruction of eight cruise missiles was also recorded.
According to the ministry, three people were killed as a result of the attacks — citizens of Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh, while 112 people were injured. Among the injured were citizens of the UAE, Egypt, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, the Comoros, and Turkey.
On March 7, Iran attacked the American airbase "Al-Dhafra" in the UAE. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that the attack on a girls' school in the city of Minab was launched from this base, resulting in the deaths of more than 170 people. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian noted that the country would cease strikes on its neighbors if they stopped supporting the American-Israeli military operation.
