As Abbas Araqchi noted, Iran seeks a "full, comprehensive, and sustainable end to the war," rather than a temporary pause. In an interview with the Kyodo agency, referenced by Reuters, he emphasized that Tehran does not intend to concede in its confrontation with the United States and Israel, assuring that Iran's political system will remain strong even in the face of potential losses among high-profile figures.

Additionally, the minister announced Iran's readiness to allow Japanese vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz after consultations with Japan. Reuters also notes that over 90% of Japan's oil imports come from Middle Eastern countries, making the situation around the strait critically important for the global energy market.

While the conflict continues, the Strait of Hormuz remains one of the most tense areas. According to Reuters, Japan is currently not planning to send military forces to protect its vessels, despite pressure from the United States.
