The visit of Emomali Rahmon will last two days, from March 26 to 27, and will take place in Tashkent and Bukhara. The program includes high-level meetings and negotiations, the first meeting of the Supreme Intergovernmental Council, the signing of several new cooperation agreements, as well as the holding of an interregional business forum and cultural events such as the Evening of Friendship and the Days of Tajik Culture in Uzbekistan.
On the same day, in a gesture of respect for the culture and history of the Uzbek people, Rahmon laid a wreath at the monument "Independence and Humanism".
At the wreath-laying ceremony, the President of Tajikistan was accompanied by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov.
