According to information from the local TV channel Haber, Cuba will receive electricity thanks to the floating power plant "Belgin Sultan," rented from the Turkish company Karpowership.

The power plant has already docked in the port of Havana and is expected to help address issues related to Cuba's outdated energy infrastructure and fuel shortages.

Karpowership, a subsidiary of Karadeniz Holding, is the only company in the world with a fleet of energy ships. It provides its services in various countries, such as Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Mozambique, Senegal, Iraq, and Brazil. The company's floating power plants can operate on various types of fuel, including liquefied natural gas, natural gas, and liquid fuel.

It is worth noting that on January 29, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, signed an order imposing tariffs on oil imports from countries supplying it to Cuba.
