According to reports, the incident took place this morning at a general education school in the village of Gorki-2. The teenager, armed with a knife and pepper spray, first neutralized the school's security guard and then attacked a fourth-grade student, who unfortunately died from his injuries.
As reported by the media, the attacker recorded his actions on camera: from preparation to the actual attack. He first struck the security guard, after which he sprayed the gas and wounded a 10-year-old boy, who later died. It is also reported that the teenager injured two more students and took a selfie against the backdrop of the deceased. Images of the murdered student and photographs containing extremist slogans and symbols of right-wing radical groups were found on his phone.
According to eyewitness accounts, the attacker was wearing a T-shirt with the inscription "No Lives Matter".
After the attack, one of the students locked himself in a classroom, and law enforcement began negotiations with him. Ultimately, the attacker was apprehended. Police and emergency services are working at the scene, and the school area has been cordoned off. Staff and students were evacuated, and details of the incident are being established.
Emergency services also reported that the attacker held destructive views and was a member of a youth group inclined towards neo-Nazi ideology. The teenager actively shared images and symbols promoting racial hatred and violence on social media.
Preliminary data indicates that the deceased was 10-year-old Kobiljon A., a fourth-grade student, while the attacker is a 15-year-old ninth-grade student. Previously, there had been no issues with this teenager reported by teachers.
The investigative authorities have opened a criminal case for murder and attempted murder, as reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
