Throughout the year, 21 special operations were conducted, including using the "controlled delivery" method, with operations taking place outside the country as well. Additionally, three new laws and two government resolutions were adopted in the country aimed at improving the fight against drug-related crime.
During the operations, the activities of 116 criminal groups were disrupted, which committed 142 drug-related crimes. Within the framework of these cases, 286 individuals were detained, including 22 members of organized criminal groups registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The service also noted 82 cases of drug-related crimes linked to the use of the internet and messaging apps. As a result of the fight against online drug trafficking, 54 online stores were shut down, 15 of which operated under court orders.
In 2025, 17 attempts to import drugs into Kyrgyzstan via mail from various countries were prevented. 33 foreign nationals were held criminally liable for drug-related offenses.
The judicial authorities issued decisions for the arrest and confiscation of property obtained from drug trafficking. This includes 15 residential houses with a total value of 106.8 million soms, 25 plots of land worth 17.65 million soms, and 26 vehicles valued at 49.36 million soms. In addition, cash was seized: $111,900, 8 million Uzbek soms, 9.27 million soms, and 2,000 rubles.
Furthermore, 114 offenses in the drug business sector were identified, resulting in fines totaling 1.42 million soms.
