A case of dissemination of materials contributing to the destabilization of the socio-political situation has been recorded in Bishkek. This was reported by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department of the capital.
According to law enforcement agencies, on January 27, 2026, as a result of monitoring social networks and internet resources, publications aimed at undermining the authority of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic and exacerbating the political situation in the country were found on the page "meder.tagaibekovich" on Instagram.
In the comments under these posts, social media users shared opinions and calls that could lead to public disorder and mass riots. In particular, discussions concerned the closure of private driving schools in the territory of the republic.
In this regard, the Investigative Service initiated a criminal case under Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to mass riots, calls for disobedience to lawful demands of authorities, and violence.
During operational activities, police officers detained M.T., born in 1994, who was taken to the police station and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It should be noted that the detainee is the director of the LLC "Aidochulardy Dayarduu Borboru" — "Driver Training Center".
Currently, necessary checks and investigative actions are ongoing.
