Department employees held a preventive conversation with the offender aimed at preventing similar incidents in the future.
The Patrol Police Department reminded that according to paragraph 14.2 of the Traffic Rules of the Kyrgyz Republic, if a vehicle has stopped or slowed down before an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing, drivers of other vehicles in adjacent lanes may continue to move only after ensuring that there are no pedestrians in front of the stopped vehicle.
In addition, the patrol service appealed to parents to teach their children the rules for safely crossing the roadway.
