
Last weekend, an operation called "Den" was held in Bishkek, initiated to identify and eliminate instances of the provision of intimate services. This was reported by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the capital.
As a result of the operational activities, more than 70 individuals engaged in intimate activities were detained and taken to law enforcement agencies for preventive work and explanations.
During the raid, over 30 administrative protocols were drawn up under Article 109² "Engaging in Prostitution" of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic. Each offender was fined 20,000 soms, totaling approximately 600,000 soms.
It should be noted that activities to monitor this type of activity are ongoing.
The Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek calls on both local residents and visitors to the capital to adhere to the laws of Kyrgyzstan, avoid involvement in illegal activities, and report any violations to law enforcement agencies.
