As part of this raid, police officers are conducting checks in places where intimate services may be offered, including saunas, hotels, and rented apartments. The goal of law enforcement is to identify women engaged in prostitution, as well as their pimps.
In the last two days, 20 women have been brought to the police, with preventive talks held with ten of them. Protocols were drawn up against the other ten under Article 109, Part 2 ("Engaging in Prostitution") of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic.
