According to the eyewitness, at the time of the fire, she was in the house with her five grandchildren. The woman was planning to perform her prayers when she noticed that the refrigerator was smoking and then caught fire. Together with her eldest granddaughter, who is in the 9th-10th grade, she ran to the neighbors for help. Unfortunately, within minutes, the flames engulfed the entire house, and it was no longer possible to return to save the other children.

Three of the four deceased children were siblings, whose parents work in Russia. The fourth child, who also perished, had come from Osh to the village for a vacation with relatives.
It should be noted that the fire caused a huge public outcry when it occurred in a residential building in the village of Myrza-Aryk of the Karool rural district. Firefighters extinguished the flames by 03:50, but by that time, the lives of four children born in 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2023 had already been lost.
