Today, a large agricultural fair has started in the Batken region, organized with the support of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the ministry, the fair features a diverse assortment of products sold at prices below market rates. Beef, which starts at 640 soms, is particularly popular, making it the most sought-after item among buyers.
The main goal of this event is to provide the population with affordable and quality food products, as well as to allow local producers to sell their goods directly, without intermediaries.
Additionally, available for sale are flour, wheat, sugar, various vegetables and fruits, as well as dried fruits and other agricultural products at reduced prices.
The ministry also announced that such fairs will continue across the country as part of preparations for the winter season and to stabilize prices on socially significant products.
