During the trip, the minister visited the building of the old hospital located at 27 Dunlarova Street. A new modern building is planned to be constructed on the site of this outdated facility. The project has currently been completed, and the demolition of the old hospital, built in 1939, has begun.
The new infectious disease department is expected to cover an area of 892.4 square meters, while the reception area will occupy 160 square meters.
The construction work is being carried out by the state enterprise "Kyrgyzkurulush," which is subordinate to the ministry. According to the project, the new hospital building will consist of two blocks, where all necessary modern conditions for medical workers and patients will be created.
It is worth noting that the current hospital building was constructed 86 years ago, and the infectious disease department and tuberculosis dispensary were added in 1965.
