Kyrgyzstan, according to the annual "Global Terrorism Index" for 2025, has been noted as one of the safest countries.

According to information published by the Australian Institute for Economics and Peace, the republic ranked 100th with a zero level of terrorist threats.

In terms of security, Kyrgyzstan outperformed countries such as Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Turkey, the UAE, as well as China and Russia, and even some Western countries, including the USA, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, and Spain. Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan also ranked 100th.

Among the countries with the highest levels of terrorist threat are Burkina Faso, Pakistan, Syria, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Somalia, Israel, Afghanistan, and Cameroon.

The report also emphasizes that there is a worrying trend in the world: the number of countries where terrorist attacks were recorded during the reporting period increased from 58 to 66.
