“The competition includes works from countries that share common cultural and spiritual traditions. The films were submitted by countries such as Russia, China, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Cuba, Senegal, South Africa, Pakistan, Belarus, Indonesia, Vietnam, Iran, and others. All these states have sent works that reflect the uniqueness and richness of their national cinematographies,” the organizers noted.
Among the nominated films are five works created by Kyrgyz directors:
- “Struggle” — directed by Azamat Ismailov;
- “Kyrgyz on Mars” — Nurlanbek Kamchybekov;
- “Deal at the Border” — Dastan Japar Ryskeldi;
- “Black, Red, Yellow” — Aktan Arym Kubat;
- “Dance with Mom!” — Dastan Madalbekov.
The film award will be presented in various nominations, including: “Best Film,” “Best Director,” “Best Screenplay,” “Best Cinematographer,” “Best Composer,” “Best Actor,” “Best Actress,” “Best Supporting Actor,” “Best Supporting Actress,” as well as “Best Artist.” In addition, during the ceremony, an award will be given for contribution to world cinema.
