Zhanjalbek Chomokov, who is the head of the municipal enterprise "Taza-Ayil," began his career in this position in February 2025. He works in the rural district of Sary-Ozon, located in the Sokuluk region.

In an interview with a Turmush correspondent, Chomokov shared an interesting story about his name. His grandfather named him Zhalzhalbek, but during the registration of his birth certificate, an error occurred, and his name was recorded as Zhanjalbek. He was born on August 23, 1980, in the Sokuluk region.

The Chomokov family lives in the village of 1-May (Pervomaiskoye) and consists of Zhanjalbek, his wife, and four daughters. His eldest daughter recently graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, while the others are studying in the 9th, 7th, and 2nd grades. In his memories, Chomokov noted that until 2009, he worked in the pasture committee of the Kroupskaya rural district, and then worked for a year in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to him, his name has become a subject of misconceptions, but he tries to stick to the name given to him by his grandfather and believes that it influences his life.

Chomokov is convinced that names hold great significance, and his own experience confirms this. He strives to provide his daughters with a decent upbringing and education, as well as to guide them on the right path in life.

From an early age, he has been interested in agriculture and became one of the first farmers in Sokuluk to start growing raspberries and strawberries. Chomokov actively works on projects aimed at educating others and participates in charitable initiatives, seeking to be an example for the youth. He hopes that the policies of the current president will lead to improvements, and that in the future, Kyrgyzstan will become a strong country.

In Sary-Ozon, where he works, there are nine villages, and Chomokov is trying to organize work on garbage collection and street cleaning. He notes that maintaining order is a challenging task and expresses a desire to develop a reform that will promote residents' responsibility for cleanliness in their communities. In his opinion, this will improve the cleanliness situation and simplify the work of municipal enterprises engaged in beautification.

Chomokov emphasizes that many people do not care about cleanliness and leave trash behind, which complicates the work of the services responsible for cleaning. He recalls that in the past, schools held clean-up days that taught children about order. Today, he says, much of this work has fallen on the shoulders of municipal enterprise workers.

With the increasing amount of garbage, especially plastic bags, the work is becoming more and more complicated. If residents took cleanliness more seriously, workers could focus on creating beautiful and well-maintained streets. Chomokov is glad that with the support of local authorities, they received new equipment, which significantly simplified their work by freeing them from old, often broken machines.
