“The road is not asphalted, and therefore an enormous amount of dust is raised daily. Instead of solving the problem, they only grade the road and cover it with small stones, which only worsens the situation. Stones fly out from under the wheels, creating danger for pedestrians and damaging vehicles. The dust increases even more, and the effect of these works lasts only a few days,” shared the locals.
We cannot open the windows during the day because of the dust, and in the evening - because of the smog.
The problem with dust and stones on Kolkhoznaya Street in the village of Kozhomkul is due to the unpaved road.
According to local residents, there has been an increase in traffic flow recently, which exacerbates the situation.
“The lack of asphalt and sidewalks makes the road dangerous. Pedestrians have to walk along the edge, where cars raise dust and small stones,” they state.
Our village desperately needs an asphalted road and a proper sidewalk. However, this issue has remained unresolved for several years.
