Supreme Mufti Abduaziz Zakirov initiated this prayer and called on Muslims to actively pray for rain and snowfall for their country.
He noted that in conditions of drought, the importance of such prayers becomes particularly relevant, and believers should turn to Allah for blessings in the form of precipitation.
According to the SAMK, the Friday prayer was conducted in 1,334 mosques across the country.
