In Kyrgyzstan, a draft resolution is currently being developed regarding the implementation of a pilot program called "Young Veterinarian: Housing and Career." This information was announced by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the country.

According to the ministry, this initiative aims to address the shortage of veterinary specialists and create conditions for attracting and retaining young professionals in remote and rural areas. Additionally, the program is focused on improving the quality of veterinary supervision and enhancing the level of biosecurity in the agro-industrial complex.

The project has already undergone initial review by the relevant government bodies and is now in the stage of clarification and addition. It is important to note that during the 12-month pilot period, 60 young veterinarians will be able to participate in the program, who will be required to work for at least five years.

Participants in the program are offered the following conditions:
- one-time payments to cover startup costs;
- monthly accumulation of funds in a special deposit, which will be used as a down payment for a mortgage loan;
- rental compensation or provision of official housing.

The ministry emphasizes that the "housing + career" model is designed to provide regions with young specialists, improve the quality of public services, strengthen the veterinary safety system, and create a positive socio-economic effect for rural areas.
The program also has social significance and financial sustainability, which is an important step in developing the human resource potential in this sector. The ministry is open to suggestions and initiatives from citizens, who can send their ideas to the relevant specialists for further consideration.
