According to the ministry's information, this architectural monument is subject to destruction due to the impact of natural factors and human activities. As a result, in 2025, a tender for restoration was held, which was won by the company OJSC "Yug-Stroyservice". These works are being carried out under the state program "Secrets of Ancient History".
The restoration is being conducted in accordance with the KR Law "On the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage" and meets international standards of scientific work.

A specialized project was prepared by the research institute "Kyrgyzrestoration", and within its framework, scientific consultations were held with the participation of both local and foreign specialists, as well as field studies.
The ministry clarifies that the fencing and canopy installed on the territory are temporary measures to protect the ongoing restoration work. To ensure the safety of the restoration:
- a fence has been organized around the monument to prevent access by livestock;
- a temporary canopy has been installed to reduce damage from precipitation and create comfortable conditions for specialists;
- these structures will be dismantled upon completion of the work;
- all actions are based on scientific principles.
Each stage of the restoration relies on expert opinions and research, as well as historical data. The main goal is to preserve the authentic historical appearance of Tash-Rabat without alteration or damage.
The ministry urges everyone to exercise caution when disseminating information. Citizens and specialists with scientifically substantiated proposals can contact the ministry for discussion.
It is worth noting that the last significant restoration of Tash-Rabat was carried out in the 1970s and 1980s. The current work aims to preserve the historical value of this monument for future generations.
