In Bishkek, at the "Akniyet" center, classes aimed at educating children in difficult life circumstances about their rights were held. According to the city's administration, such events are intended to raise legal awareness among minors.
Employees of the center and investigator B. Karabaev from the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department participated in the event. Participants were informed about their rights and responsibilities, as well as the legislative norms of Kyrgyzstan regarding the accountability of minors.
A social worker presented information to the children about the operation of closed institutions for minors, including the Voznesenskaya colony for boys and the women's colony No. 2 located in the village of Stepnoye. The children learned about the procedure for serving sentences and the consequences of unlawful actions.
Twenty-one children participated in the classes, actively asking questions and receiving clear explanations. The investigator conducted a preventive conversation, emphasizing the inadmissibility of theft, escapes, and other offenses.
The city administration noted that the classes took place in a constructive atmosphere and contributed to the formation of legal consciousness and a sense of responsibility among the participants.
