Representatives of the American pizza chain Papa John's confirmed that the restaurants in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan remain open despite the termination of their partnership with the master franchisee. This information was shared in response to earlier rumors about the brand's complete withdrawal from these countries, which were published in the "Kursiv" publication.

Previously, Daniyar Monolbaev, a restaurateur and master franchisee of Papa John's, announced the end of his activities in this role in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. He explained his decision by the long-term decline in revenues and rising expenses. According to him, all financial resources were directed towards paying salaries, taxes, and rent, as well as partially repaying debts. Most employees in Kazakhstan were able to find new jobs, and the remaining obligations will be resolved in court.

In response, representatives of Papa John's clarified that the brand will not be leaving the region, as the termination of relations concerns only one specific partner.

The company noted: "Papa John's has ended its cooperation with the master franchisee in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. This decision aligns with our high standards of quality and our commitment to providing customers with the best service. We are exploring new ways to maintain our presence in these countries."

Currently, 14 Papa John's restaurants continue to operate in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
