In Bishkek, events were held dedicated to the International Migrants Day. The initiator was the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad, which operates under the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of Kyrgyzstan.

Deputy Minister of Labor Bakyt Darmankul uulu emphasized the importance of safe and legal labor migration and highlighted the role of private employment agencies in protecting the rights of workers and ensuring their employment opportunities abroad.

"Migrants are not just an economic category; they are people with destinies, and the state is responsible for their rights and safety," he noted.

According to Darmankul uulu, professional qualifications have a direct impact on wage levels abroad and the volume of remittances sent back to families. Every year, about 100,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan seek advice before going abroad for work, of which 17 to 21 percent are women. This circumstance requires special attention to issues of their protection and safety.

Moreover, he reported a positive trend in labor migration. According to him, the number of labor migrants is gradually decreasing due to the increase in job opportunities and the development of the economy within the country.

At the end of the event, the best private employment agencies were awarded for their quality work, contribution to the development of legal labor migration, implementation of modern standards, and digitalization of services.
