The reconstruction of the 'Government' fountain continues in Bishkek, with the work being carried out by the Capital Construction Department of the city administration.
According to the city authorities, the production of rebar frames for three basins and columns has been completed.
“Currently, the formwork is being refined, after which monolithic concreting will take place. The first basin has already been poured, and the others will be mixed on-site. All necessary structures and formwork are ready,” the city administration reports.
Additionally, the department noted that the concrete base is currently being completed, after which the installation of the frame and rebar tying is planned. This month, work is also scheduled for backfilling the pit and installing the upper part of the fountain.
It is worth noting that the historical part of the fountain has been preserved and transferred for safekeeping to the Municipal Enterprise “Tazalyk.”
