In the collective farm Sın-Tash, located in the Issyk-Ata district of the Chuy region (currently this is the rural district of Sın-Tash), the cosmonaut Andriyan Nikolayev visited, who was among the first five people to fly into space.

This information was provided by the head of library No. 16 in the village of Telman of the rural district of Sın-Tash, Kalyman Almanbetova.

She specified that at that time, the collective farm Sın-Tash was headed by Karypbai Kurmanov, who was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.

“Andriyan Grigoryevich Nikolayev (September 5, 1929 — July 3, 2004) was the third Soviet cosmonaut and the fifth person on the planet to visit space, twice awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union and held the rank of Major General of Aviation,” she said.

Nikolayev was an honored guest of the collective farm during Karypbai Kurmanov's leadership, but the exact date of his visit remains unknown. It is assumed that he came after his first flight into space.

Considering the cosmonauts' fascination with speed, the local collective farmers gifted him one of their fastest horses. Rumor has it that during his second space flight, Nikolayev often thought about his loved ones and how they proudly and anxiously followed his long stay in space, also recalling the hospitality of his Kyrgyz friends.

According to his friends, they thought about him every moment. Furthermore, immediately after his successful return to Earth following his second flight, a telegram was sent to him from the residents of Sın-Tash,” added K. Almanbetova.
