Chinese astronauts are facing issues aboard the Shenzhou-20 spacecraft, which sustained damage after a collision with space debris. This was reported by The Daily Mail (DM).
A deep dent has formed on the hull of the spacecraft, creating potential risks for a safe return to Earth.
Since April, three astronauts have been living on the Tiangong orbital station, where they are engaged in scientific research, spacewalks, and adapting to the conditions of weightlessness. Meanwhile, a new crew that was supposed to replace them arrived at the station on October 31.
Currently, an analysis of the extent of the damage to Shenzhou-20 is being conducted, and possible critical malfunctions are being investigated.
