Funding went towards the purchase of necessary decorations and garlands
According to Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva, it was announced at a recent session of the Bishkek City Council that 2 million soms were allocated for the decoration of the New Year’s tree in Bishkek. These funds were used to purchase the missing decorations and garlands that had become unusable. The decoration of the walking area was carried out by the company "Severное сияние" (Northern Lights).
The company "Bishkeksvet" is only responsible for the decoration of the fountain center, while all costs for the installation of the New Year’s decorations, as well as utility expenses, were covered by "Tazalyk," "Bishkeksvet," and "Bishkekvodokanal," added Victoria Mozgacheva. She also noted that commercial banks did not participate in decorating the central square for the holiday.
