During the meeting, important issues were discussed, such as the current state of anthrax morbidity, preventive and anti-epidemic measures, as well as the condition of sarcophagi in Bishkek. Special attention was given to the situation with tuberculosis and measures for its prevention, as well as the implementation of the Law "On Protecting the Health of Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic from the Consequences of Tobacco, Nicotine Consumption, and Exposure to Environmental Tobacco Smoke and Aerosol".
Within the framework of anti-tobacco legislation, participants discussed the need to strengthen outreach work and preventive measures, including showing informational videos on public transport.
Regarding tuberculosis prevention, it was instructed to intensify efforts for early detection of the disease, conduct preventive medical examinations and screenings, as well as strictly monitor compliance with infection control requirements.
