





On November 28, 2025, a meeting of the Coordinating Commission overseeing the healthcare system took place in Bishkek under the leadership of Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva. This was reported by the city hall of the capital.
Representatives from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and other government agencies were present at the meeting.
The main topic of discussion was the situation with acute respiratory viral infections and influenza in Bishkek. Participants analyzed the incidence rate and discussed measures aimed at preventing further spread of these infections.
As a result of the meeting, a decision was made on the necessity of adhering to sanitary and epidemiological norms, enhancing control in educational institutions, monitoring student attendance in schools and kindergartens, as well as intensifying public information efforts.
In this regard, the city hall advises residents to:
- avoid crowds;
- not self-medicate and consult a doctor at the first signs of ARVI;
- wear medical masks when going outside;
regularly ventilate premises and, if possible, use air purifiers; - maintain personal hygiene and use antiseptics.
