A meeting of the Coordination Committee dedicated to socially significant and dangerous diseases was held at the Akimat of the First May District. This was reported by representatives of the local administration.

The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Head of the District, Chynara Zhanikeeva. It was attended by heads of medical institutions, directors of schools and kindergartens, as well as imams of local mosques.

The key issue on the agenda was the discussion of the epidemiological situation regarding ARVI and influenza. An epidemiologist from the Central State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service (CGSEN) presented current data, noting a significant seasonal increase in morbidity.

Particular attention was paid to measles, where specialists from CGSEN and the Center for Health and Medical Prevention (CSMP) emphasized the importance of activating immunoprophylaxis and expanding vaccination coverage among the population.

The head of the Education Department noted that daily monitoring of school attendance is being conducted, which allows for a quick response to changes in the epidemiological situation.

In addition, the meeting discussed preventive measures for rubella, as well as the situation regarding HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis.

As a result of the meeting, participants were urged to strengthen preventive work and informational and explanatory activities, especially among parishioners during Friday prayers.
