Body cameras in online mode. How digitalization is changing the work of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate
The Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has reported on the implementation of digital technologies that are changing the daily work of its employees.
According to the information, the department's staff have started using body cameras that have been provided for official purposes. This system is aimed at enhancing the safety of employees, improving the transparency of interactions with citizens, strengthening legality, and the quality of official activities.
Body cameras operate continuously during the performance of employees' official duties. Each camera is linked to a specific employee and connected to a central monitoring point, allowing for real-time surveillance. Video recordings are monitored in real-time, enabling quick responses to situations that require intervention.
In the event of emergencies or violations of legal requirements, responsible services can respond promptly by providing instructions to resolve the issue or dispatching additional units. Furthermore, the emergency call button on the body camera allows the employee to instantly establish communication and request assistance," the statement notes.
The implementation of this system is a significant part of the digitalization process of the Main Department of Internal Affairs and contributes to increasing citizens' trust in the work of its employees.
