The goal of this project is to enhance the transparency of justice and its accessibility for citizens. The implementation of Article 290 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic allows for online broadcasts of court sessions in real-time on television, radio, and the internet, either at the request of the participants in the process or on the initiative of the court, as reported by the press service of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The open video broadcast of court sessions symbolizes a new level of interaction between the judicial system and society. This approach will contribute to the enhancement of legal culture, strengthening trust in justice, and preventing offenses.
All recordings of court sessions will be available on the YouTube channel of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic "Жогорку сот Верховный суд" (www.youtube.com/@JOGORKU_SOT), providing everyone the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the actual practice of the courts.
It should be noted that the video materials are produced in pilot mode and are intended solely for educational purposes. Commercial use, copying, and distribution without the permission of the rights holder are not permitted.
The filming of court sessions is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the law and the interests of justice, strictly by court permission — based on the request of participants or on the initiative of the court itself. The video recordings are aimed at a wide audience and are intended to raise citizens' legal awareness, fostering legal culture and ensuring access to information about the activities of the judicial authority.
