More than 300 predators have been shot in Batken since the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of the current year, 104 wolves, 197 jackals, and 16 wolf cubs have been shot in the Batken region. This is reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.

According to the provided data, local residents have hunted 104 wolves, 197 jackals, and 16 wolf cubs in the region since the beginning of 2025.

It is noted that for accounting the shot wild predators, the ministry, in accordance with the government resolution dated February 26, 2016, No. 89, established for organizing activities to regulate the population of wolves and jackals in the Kyrgyz Republic, created a special commission that handles the preparation of the relevant acts and documentation.

Based on the prepared documents, the Ministry makes payments in accordance with established procedures and in full within predetermined deadlines.
