The most difficult situation is observed in the villages of the Jeti-Oguz district. According to locals, jackals have begun to appear not only at night but also during the day. In the village of Yrdyk, residents are afraid to go outside after sunset, as the predators invade yards, attacking poultry and even large livestock.

District authorities, together with hunters, are taking measures to control the situation. According to official data, since the beginning of the year, more than 300 jackals have been shot during raids. Agencies note that such a mass manifestation of predator activity in the region is being observed for the first time.
Experts link the increase in the jackal population to climate changes, a decrease in available food in mountainous areas, and insufficient control over the population of these animals.
Residents are demanding enhanced security measures and hope for a swift response from the relevant services.
