Elnura Esenzhan kyzy, who killed a wolf with a knife to save her husband, appointed as the director of a kindergarten

Elnura Esenzhan kyzy, a 33-year-old resident of the village of Ak-Shiyrak, now heads the kindergarten in Uch-Koshkon, located in the Jeti-Oguz district of the Issyk-Kul region.

The kindergarten in Uch-Koshkon, situated 280 kilometers from the district center, offers a three-hour program and is attended by 18 children, cared for by two educators.

Elnura, who grew up in Balikchy, has been a daughter-in-law in the remote mountainous area of the Issyk-Kul region for 17 years. She enjoys the clean mountain air and natural products, and together with her husband Mirbek, they are raising four children.
Elnura continues to assist her husband in caring for livestock, learning to cope with the harsh winter conditions. She recalls the day when their family faced danger in the mountainous area while returning home.

Elnura's story is an example of resilience and dedication, as she was able to protect her husband from a wolf, showing incredible bravery in a difficult situation. This woman not only cares for her family but also actively participates in the life of the local community, making her a role model.

The residents of Ak-Shiyrak and the surrounding areas continue to engage in livestock farming despite the harsh climatic conditions. Locals claim they are accustomed to this way of life and would not want to change it.

Their life in the mountains is full of challenges, but they appreciate the beauty of the surrounding nature and do everything possible to preserve it for future generations.

The climate here is harsh, with winters lasting more than seven months and temperatures dropping to -40 degrees. Yet, despite this, life in this region is full of joys, and people continue to enjoy each day, finding meaning and happiness in it.
