Specialists from the Republican Center for Health Promotion emphasize that there is no safe dose of alcohol.

According to them, "Every sip of alcohol causes immense stress in the body and leads to destructive consequences. All organs and systems suffer from the effects of alcohol."

Doctors note that even small doses of alcohol can lead to irreversible reduction in the number of cells in the cerebral cortex, which does not recover after damage.

According to data from the RCUZ, just 100 ml of strong 40-degree drink destroys about 1,000 cells of gray matter, which the body excretes the next day with urine.

Australian scientists, as reported by the center, have found that even moderate alcohol consumption (two to three times a week) leads to a reduction in brain size and can cause dementia known as alcoholic dementia.

Moreover, alcohol is associated with about 60 diseases, and in most cases, there is a direct correlation between the amount of alcohol consumed and the body's response.

"Simply put, the more alcohol a person consumes, the higher the likelihood of developing diseases. Holidays are a great time to give up this harmful habit for the sake of your health!" - specialists urged.
