In Bishkek, near the main building of the I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, an impressive art installation has appeared — a sculpture of the Red Fiery Horse, the symbol of the year 2026. This was reported by a Turmush correspondent.

Since its installation on December 11, the figure, located on the parapet at the central entrance, has attracted the attention of both locals and visitors to the capital. During the day, it stands out with its dynamic silhouette, and in the dark — thanks to bright lighting that creates the impression of movement and a "jump" into the sky.

The idea and realization of the sculpture belong to Nikolai Borodin, a retiree and master of wood and glass, who works at the KGMA. He noted that creating New Year symbols has become a good tradition at the academy. Over the past six years, figures of the Bull, Rabbit, Rat, Tiger, Hare, and Dragon have already been installed here.

The sculpture was made in just five days from multilayer plywood. Its dimensions are 220 centimeters in length, 120 centimeters in height, and almost 4 centimeters in thickness, which ensures the stability of the structure even in strong winds. Welders and electricians from the academy also assisted in creating the metal frame and lighting system.

Academy staff emphasize that this installation symbolizes collective labor and embodies energy, movement, and the drive to move forward — qualities that are associated with both the upcoming year and the medical profession.

The unusual art object has already become a popular spot for photo sessions and has attracted the attention of city residents. According to representatives of the KGMA, this is a unique example of New Year decoration for Bishkek, created by the efforts of one team.
