Citizens are urged not to pressure inspectors
Recent cases of calls to "influential" protectors and intimidation occurring during the performance of their duties by municipal inspection employees negatively affect the reputation of the service and demoralize those who work diligently. This was reported on social media by Myrlan Talaibekov (Tsarikaev), the head of the municipal inspection.
He urged people to refrain from such actions.
Additionally, Talaibekov shared information about the pressure being exerted on his family, which he characterized as "an extremely alarming and unacceptable case."
"One of the well-known public figures decided to indirectly influence me by initiating an inspection at the children's rehabilitation center where my mother works, trying to find non-existent violations. I believe that such methods are extremely low and morally unacceptable when service conflicts affect families and parents," he noted.
"Our family has never been and will never be involved in illegal activities. Moreover, I believe that even this inspection will ultimately be beneficial — attention to the center will increase, conditions for children's rehabilitation will improve, and any existing problems will be addressed substantively, rather than in someone's personal interests. I continue to act openly and within the law. No pressure or attempts at discrediting will change my approach or stop the planned reforms," Talaibekov added.
