Vice Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva confirmed the existence of the problem, indicating that it mainly concerns children who are in conflict with the law.
She added: "Our capital needs a specialized center for such children. The previous director was dismissed due to unsatisfactory performance of their duties."
However, according to Ergeshov, even under new management, cases of escape continue. "There are complaints and video evidence confirming hazing: older teenagers bully younger ones, and some staff members humiliate children using foul language. This is extremely cruel treatment, which drives children to leave the center. Additionally, the institution receives regular sponsorship, but there is no accounting for these funds. The situation needs to be brought under control; I request that a commission visit the center," the deputy emphasized.
