On October 19, Chyngyz arranged to meet a friend named Jazgul (name changed). However, due to family circumstances, they postponed the meeting to 10:00 PM.“I arrived in my car. We were talking in the car, but around 11 PM, when I was about to take Jazgul home, a stranger approached us. He started asking questions about who I was and where I was from, and then demanded that I leave, threatening me with violence. I explained that I was just dropping off a friend and was about to leave. He walked away but soon returned with even more aggressive threats. I got out of the car, and Jazgul also got out, as she recognized him. She tried to calm the situation, but he kept threatening,” Chyngyz recounted.
After that, they got back in the car, and he drove Jazgul home. However, on the way back, the same guy blocked his path and demanded that he get out again.
“When I got out, he started talking about how people who are not residents of this village should be beaten. Soon, two more guys joined him. One of them grabbed me by the shoulder. The guy who stopped me said not to hit me too hard. At that moment, I was struck in the face; I noticed that the attacker had something in his hand, probably brass knuckles. The blow was so strong that I fell, and they continued to beat me. When they picked me up, I took some water from the car, and that guy said I needed help to wash my face, after which they let me go,” he added.
Be careful, photoChyngyz noted that one of the attackers later came to the hospital and apologized, while he never saw the other two, and the parents of one of them also came to him with apologies.
“I am suffering from terrible pain, I can't sleep or eat properly, only through a straw. The police do not respond, and the guilty remain free. I don’t know where to turn for justice. I hope that the authorities will respond, and I will be able to achieve the truth so that the law works,” concluded Chyngyz S.
It is worth noting that on October 25, the head of the municipal inspection of Bishkek, Mirlan Talaibekov (Tsarikaev), was beaten, sustaining injuries including a torn lip and a broken jaw. All four suspects were detained and sent to pre-trial detention.
