According to representatives of the Ministry of Construction, necessary engineering and geological studies were conducted before the start of construction work in this area. The results of these studies allowed for the determination of the groundwater level, and appropriate engineering solutions were incorporated into the project.
The project documentation includes the creation of a drainage system for the diversion of underground water, as well as a restriction on the height of residential buildings to five stories, taking into account the engineering characteristics of the area. These measures are aimed at ensuring safety during the construction process. The "Altai" town will represent a low-rise residential complex.
Considering seismic safety issues, they have been fully analyzed by the relevant state departments under the Ministry of Construction. Therefore, separate approval from the Seismology Institute is not required for design and construction.Thus, the statements made by Kanatbek Abdrakhmatov were deemed incorrect, and the ministry urged not to mislead the public and create panic," the agency noted.
The construction of the "Altai" town is taking place on a plot of 234 hectares. It is planned to build 1,551 five-story buildings, which will provide 34,004 apartments of various layouts. The total built-up area will exceed 1 million 7 thousand square meters. The project is being implemented by the company "Kut," which offered housing without a down payment and in installments. All 34 thousand apartments were sold out within a few days. On November 20, President Sadyr Japarov laid the capsule for the construction of the town.
